Ascending Pairs

A candid, high-contrast black and white capture of a ski lift in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, carrying passengers up a wooded mountainside. The image beautifully frames the ascending chairs and the vertical structure of the lift tower against the dense, dark foliage. This photograph evokes a feeling of shared adventure, classic leisure, and the silent ascent above the everyday world.
